Course Description:

This 2 credit CE, reading-based asynchronous distance course was developed in 2025. This course will familiarize social workers with a beginner's level of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Identify the various types of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
2. Describe the difference between the Baby Blues and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
3. Recall the symptoms and risk factors of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

Intended Audience:

This is a Beginner's-level course intended for all education levels of the Social Work profession.

Cost Of Course:

This course is a one time fee of $27. This course is non-refundable. There is no registration deadline as long as the course is still active and approved for CE credit.

How To Receive Credit:

Complete the post-test quiz at the end of the course. A passing grade of 75% or higher is required to receive CE credit. You may retake the post-test if necessary.
