This 2 credit, reading-based asynchronous distance course will familiarize social workers with a beginner's level of Human Trafficking in the United States. The course will cover different types and venues of human trafficking, victims of human trafficking in healthcare settings, warning signs of human trafficking in healthcare settings, and trauma-informed care perspectives for human trafficking victims. This course is self-paced, non-interactive, and may be completed at your own convenience.
